The National Service Scheme (NSS) has been introduced in the college from the session 2012-13. It is a scheme under the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, Govt. of India. The College NSS Unit is comprises 100 nos of volunteers from the students who are guided by one programme officer from the teaching staff with one advisory committee. It is coordinated by NSS Cell, Assam University, Silchar.
